The head rest is another aspect of the portable massage table that needs to be considered. The head rest is one of the foremost things that will give the client comfort. It is best to make sure that the head rest is soft and not obtrusive enough to disturb the client during the massage.

Other Features

A portable massage table can also have some features to make the massage session more comfortable and enjoyable for both the client and the massage therapist. These include racks for putting towels, magazines, lotions and other things that may be used for massage. Other features for a convenient portable massage table are the height adjuster for the table height and the arm rests.  Not all portable massage tables have these features so if you can afford these small extras, get them. These are just a few of the features that most of the portable massage tables may have. Although, some are necessities, not all of them are requirements.
